My brother bought Ace Link III+ plates and a Quadrelease carrier first…and I watched some Youtube videos and then added a pair of ceramic/poly for my own. I have a LBT QRC carrier on the way, and I may add Ace Link side plates and a soft armor as a deformation block up front. I am trying to buy smart as I put this together, but I am happy with the AL purchase thus far.
I have tried resizing this photo for a half hour and it is continually giving me an error, so you just get the text.

Honestly I’ve had level 4 plates before the weight was unbearable, when I saw this Ace Link Armor I hesitated, I started to dig more into it. So I pulled the trigger. Wow, I’m floored at the difference in weight. You also get a copy of the Ballistics Resistance Test. Very well made product.

Excellent Armor!!
Quadrelease Ultra 2.0 Plate Carrier
I purchased the Quadrelease Ultra bundle with the NIJ level III+ armor plates, and the NIJ level III side panels. The plate carrier is top notch. It is well built, easily adjusted, well vented, and has padding strategically placed making it comfortable for all day wear. The buckles snap together easily, and feel secure. The armor plates are truly light weight (much lighter than AR500 / AR550 steel), and well molded to the contours of the chest and back so that sitting or riding in a vehicle is very comfortable. The side panels are flexible, and provide a snug fit to the plate carrier. Overall, this armor is very comfortable, rugged, and extremely well designed. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Fantastic customer service
LEVEL IIIA BULLETPROOF VEST
Not only was the customer service Class-A with them going above and beyond to address my initial concerns, but with my second order they included two branded vest swag strips.
If you think you need a small, go with a medium. I'm wearing the armor now with the concealable shirt and it's breathable and comfortable.
The plates were a bit of a pain to install into the shirt but once they're in you're not gonna have to worry about them coming loose.

Level 111+ armor plates
LEVEL III+ SPECIAL THREAT
Purchased these plates recently . They are ceramic so they are very light compared to steel. I put them in my 5.11 tactical plate carrier and my entire setup weighs 12.5 lbs which is a lot better then standard steel weighing around 18-20lbs. I hope I never have to put them to the test but guntubers have not penetrated these with 5.56. Highly recommended :100::u1F1FA::u1F1F8::u1F1FA::u1F1F8::u1F1FA::u1F1F8:
