I purchased the Quadrelease Ultra bundle with the NIJ level III+ armor plates, and the NIJ level III side panels. The plate carrier is top notch. It is well built, easily adjusted, well vented, and has padding strategically placed making it comfortable for all day wear. The buckles snap together easily, and feel secure. The armor plates are truly light weight (much lighter than AR500 / AR550 steel), and well molded to the contours of the chest and back so that sitting or riding in a vehicle is very comfortable. The side panels are flexible, and provide a snug fit to the plate carrier. Overall, this armor is very comfortable, rugged, and extremely well designed. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Purchased my plate carrier from Ace Link Armor. I did some extensive research between brands including 100s of reviews, looking at/testing buddies gear, looking for compatibility with plates/pouches/other accessories, reading reviews on features that may be handy or that turn out to be useless. I chose Ace Link Armor for their expected quality, customer service, and reputation. My order was delivered in 5 days! My brother bought Ace Link III+ plates and a Quadrelease carrier first…and I watched some Youtube videos and then added a pair of ceramic/poly for my own. I have a LBT QRC carrier on the way, and I may add Ace Link side plates and a soft armor as a deformation block up front. I am trying to buy smart as I put this together, but I am happy with the AL purchase thus far. I have tried resizing this photo for a half hour and it is continually giving me an error, so you just get the text.
