Purchased these plates recently . They are ceramic so they are very light compared to steel. I put them in my 5.11 tactical plate carrier and my entire setup weighs 12.5 lbs which is a lot better then standard steel weighing around 18-20lbs. The patrol laser cut outer carrier is a very nice carrier with 4 zip pockets and a ton of molle area for your gear along with Velcro areas for your ID patches. Only thing I had to do was alter one side to get my front panel to fit properly, but other then that it’s a very comfortable outer carrier and gave me a ton of space to move my gear off my hips and up on to my outer carrier. Will be buying another one and possibly a different one to hold my rifle plates.

Quadrelease Tactical Plate Carrier
