Purchased these plates recently . They are ceramic so they are very light compared to steel. I put them in my 5.11 tactical plate carrier and my entire setup weighs 12.5 lbs which is a lot better then standard steel weighing around 18-20lbs. Great product and great price however, there is no manufacturer label attached to describe who makes the helmet and what is capable of. So I made my own label with date of purchase. I would recommend this I plan on getting a NVG and possibly some headphones for a two way radio.

Plates arrived timely and packed with care. Vinyl bag with foam and bubble wrap inside. packed in the box with more packaging material. Fedex threw the box onto bricks but plates had no damage. Plates feel and look very quality. Would buy more.

Ballistic Helmet High-Cut Coyote Brown with Helmet Cover
Delivery was fast. Upon unboxing the helmet, I was amazed at the how awesome the helmet was put together, from the paddings to the rail attachment. Then, I noticed the chin straps look like it was made from inferior materials. Hopefully, that's just some unwarranted concerns. But I'm looking forward to use this for night hunting.
