BULLETPROOF VESTS

I have been looking for something like this my whole life….practically. Hot days I can wear it with only a front plate and be cool, and nobody knows. Anytime I don't need a whole vest it's great. A must have tool in the toolbox.

I REALLY LOVE THIS PLATE CARRIER, FOR FORM AND FIT. ALLOWS EASY ACCESS TO DUTY BELT, EASY TO DON AND DOFF. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THE COLLAR IS A LITTLE STIFF AND IT CHAFS UNDER MY CHIN SOMETIMES. NICE POCKETS AND WEBBING FOR ATTACHING MOLLE.

It’s always difficult to rate armor on the most important aspect of body armor. Stopping the rounds they say they are rated to stop is not something 99% of armor owners hope to never really test for themselves. So maybe the most important aspect of buying armor is trusting the company that makes this life saving gear. That being said, I wholeheartedly trust Ace Link Armor. They use the same manufacturing process as industry leaders, using highest grades of Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) Polyethylene layers of backing, enhanced by silicon carbide ceramic on the strike face offering true multi-hit, edge to edge protection. All while meeting NIJ standards, weighing in at 6 lbs, and sold at a great price point compared to the competition. The multicurve design is extremely comfortable for extended wear. Simply put, these plates are a high-quality option for professionals or civilians that are serious about their personal protection.

My brother bought Ace Link III+ plates and a Quadrelease carrier first…and I watched some Youtube videos and then added a pair of ceramic/poly for my own. I have a LBT QRC carrier on the way, and I may add Ace Link side plates and a soft armor as a deformation block up front. I am trying to buy smart as I put this together, but I am happy with the AL purchase thus far. I have tried resizing this photo for a half hour and it is continually giving me an error, so you just get the text.
