Going from the issued ECH helmet to this one is night and day, especially when utilizing peltors, or other comm equipment. There is a lot of potential in terms of modularity, and personally I have spray painted mine depending on enviornment where it is being used. Backpack Armor 08×10″ Level 3A
Fits the Osprey Talon 22 snugly side to side. The bags hydration pocket is another inch taller so it would not be bad if the armor was 18″. The armor is light, thin, flexible and no one notices it being there. Hope to never need it.

The patrol laser cut outer carrier is a very nice carrier with 4 zip pockets and a ton of molle area for your gear along with Velcro areas for your ID patches. Only thing I had to do was alter one side to get my front panel to fit properly, but other then that it’s a very comfortable outer carrier and gave me a ton of space to move my gear off my hips and up on to my outer carrier. Will be buying another one and possibly a different one to hold my rifle plates.
