Ace Link’s NIJ Level IIIA Soft Armor Panels are exclusively manufactured here at our facilities in Southern California, Ace-Link sources aramid fibers from established manufacturers of quality materials and outsource production of these quality fibers into fabrics overseas. Applied as multiple layers of aramid, our ballistic panels provide unyielding protection for the wearer. We are able to offer also PE (or polyethylene) materials which are also used in hard armor rifle plates manufactured for us. This lightweight but ballistically sound material is designed to endure multiple hits from various rifle ammunition. Speaking about hard armor plates, we can’t forget about their lightweight polyeurea outer coating and the fact plates are neutrally buoyant in order be safe to use for maritime applications.
