Our armor has some give so that It can slightly bend with you if you reach over something or are going around obstacles, this is to optimize user comfort.

i purchased these to run as a backer pad behind a set of 10"x12" level IV ceramic plates in an older Eagle MMAC. along with being thin and very lightweight they fit and fill the front and rear pouch completely while snugging up and centering the ceramic plates perfectly, adding more surface area along with another layer of protection and padding without hardly any additional weight.
this is a great retrofit for older issued carriers designed for the soft 'kevlar insert and trauma plate' or upgraded SAPI plate straps(that are most likely too stretched out to fit modern ceramic plates well)

This soft armor is excellent. I was sold after watching test videos of this particular item. I’m confident it will perform if I ever need it. My first impression was quality. It’s well made, with attention to detail, and just has a feeling of quality. The 11×14 fits perfectly into a laptop sleeve on a standard backpack. I received the soft armor within about 5 days of ordering, which I found to be pretty quick delivery. I’m very happy and will be a return customer.

Very flexible , fit nicely will be adding a heavier plate in front and keep these as a pad almost , but if I ever feel like It I can take one and toss it right in my backpack it’s super light works good for easy protection with my backpack on not super thick either only a half inch maybe less actually but can stop a lot.

Fits the Osprey Talon 22 snugly side to side. The bags hydration pocket is another inch taller so it would not be bad if the armor was 18″. The armor is light, thin, flexible and no one notices it being there. Hope to never need it.

This is my second panel from Ace Link. Thankfully, I have not needed it, but it is great piece of mind. I send my kid to school with a backpack panel, and now I have one in my EDC pack.
I love the fact that these panels are Made In USA.
Again, I have not “field tested” these panels but I have field tested another 2A panel from another manufacturer. These are thicker than the 2A variety, so it is great piece of mind. My next purchase will be a Spectre or Enhancer.
