What is Level 3+ protection?
Level 3+ is capable of stopping mild penetrating rounds such as M855A1 Green tip, but is not rated to stop .30Cal M2 AP rounds like with level 4.
2.
Why Level 3+ as opposed to level 3 or level 4
Level 3+ is a goldilocks zone, it offers the user more protection than standards level 3, but less so than level 4. In real world situation, as a normal citizen you are unlikely to be in a situation where AP rounds are being fired at you. Additionally, 3+ is significantly lighter at 4.4 pounds as opposed to Level 4 at 6.0 pounds.

What are these plates made out of?
Level 3+ plates are made out of combination of PE and Ceramic, with a layer of coating that surrounds the armor.
4.
Do you have to be careful with ceramic plates?
Yes, don’t treat plates like bowling balls, if you throw them or drop them intentionally it could compromise the structure.
5.
What sizes do you offer them in?
We offer our 3+ plates in both 10×12 and 11×14 (sold seprately).

I saw Acelink on the Warrior Poet Society app for sale in the products section. I thought too myself, "if this stuff is on WPS Network it's gotta be good"!!! John is one of the most straight shooting guys in the industry in my opinion so I went with the armor. I got the Level 3a special threat plates because I figured I was most likely to encounter 5.56mm green tips before 7.62 AP rounds, but I guess you never know until the situation arises. I immediately ordered soft armor and side plates the next day after I did a little more DuckDuckgoing. Great company, Great customer service and most importantly a great product. Will be buying Acelink for the rest of the guys for sure.

My brother bought Ace Link III+ plates and a Quadrelease carrier first…and I watched some Youtube videos and then added a pair of ceramic/poly for my own. I have a LBT QRC carrier on the way, and I may add Ace Link side plates and a soft armor as a deformation block up front. I am trying to buy smart as I put this together, but I am happy with the AL purchase thus far.
I have tried resizing this photo for a half hour and it is continually giving me an error, so you just get the text.

Purchased these plates recently . They are ceramic so they are very light compared to steel. I put them in my 5.11 tactical plate carrier and my entire setup weighs 12.5 lbs which is a lot better then standard steel weighing around 18-20lbs.
