Useable, needs tests

Ballistic Helmet High-Cut Coyote Brown
The helmet is useable and provides some ballistic protection for a low price. If it falls between this and a bump helmet I'd grab this one. I'd rate this highet if I could see one off these put through its paces. A little transparency would go a long way.
Shell- extremely thick. The inside is lacquered and the edges are soft; I'd hate to take an edge hit with it.
Padding- leaves something to be desired but still useable. Similar to issued bump helmets
Suspension- surprisingly good. The whee dial lets you get a comfortable and secure fit. Chinstrap is on par with issued equipment
Rails- giant pain to work with due to tight tolerances, but they are secure
NVG Shroud- secure and accepts Rhino II mounts, feels higher quality than an ECH. The bungees will pop out under tension, so don't trust your gear to them.
Velcro kit- easily the best feature. I was able to rig my helmet exactly as I need it .

Got the helmet and was very impressed with the build of it. Had some issues with fit but was able to move the pads around to make it comfortable. I then realized there is no way to change sides that the chin strap buckle is on. Being a lefty the buck prevents a proper cheek weld. Called customer service they were very friendly and processed a return for the helmet after confirming that there is no way to change the strap.

Good buy on a helmet, especially if you tinker. My only complaint would be the mounting screws for the nvg shroud needed to be replaced. I have an ops core bump I use 99.9% of the time. Weight is similar with my counterweights and such. For someone who doesn't want to spend almost 2000 bucks on a helmet, this one is a good one. But it's ~ 400 bucks ish. It's not gonna be an ops core or team Wendy.

Great Helmet. I was expecting it to be heavier, but its light enough that I can wear it for long periods without getting a headache or feeling like my neck is compressing. I only wish it came in a medium since my head is just barely bug enough to fit in the large.
I'll be ordering another when they come in a smaller size but for now, it does the job.

Going from the issued ECH helmet to this one is night and day, especially when utilizing peltors, or other comm equipment. There is a lot of potential in terms of modularity, and personally I have spray painted mine depending on enviornment where it is being used. Solid purchase and a few of my buddies just got theirs as well after trying mine out.

Delivery was fast. Upon unboxing the helmet, I was amazed at the how awesome the helmet was put together, from the paddings to the rail attachment. Then, I noticed the chin straps look like it was made from inferior materials. Hopefully, that's just some unwarranted concerns. But I'm looking forward to use this for night hunting.

Good quality helmet. A little larger, wider than I had imagined. More used to a Fast Spec Ops style size. Having trouble getting my existing hardware to mount up in the rails. Got to shave down the peak on the sides for it to work. Otherwise, it seems okay.

Typically, these helmet come with inferior head padding but not these. The helmet is light enough to be worn all day. And at this price point, why wouldn’t you buy it, as this is the cheapest ballistic helmet available. And that is why I purchased it.
