I bought this vest to wear on duty. The armor is lighter and thinner than what my department issued me, and it has a higher rating. The vest is comfortable and well thought out. Only 2 fixes i would do: move the microphone loop more forward on the shoulder, or add a loop high on the chest on each side and on the armor on the front, add a patch of velcro at the bottom like there is at the top to keep the armor in place better. Definately not a deal breaker and a fantastic piece of equipment, especially for the cost.

This is one of the best places to get body armor. I am a school educator, specifically, an eighth grade middle school English teacher. I’m a teacher in Texas and in light of Uvalde, I’ve taken my safety to the next level. This armor is amazing. I bought the vest because of the long warranty but LOVE it because of how light and flexible it is. The carrier is durable and the armor is super comfortable. I can’t recommend them enough. They didn’t have my size in stock and rather than have me wait, they sent me a size smaller and allowed me to use it while they got stock in my size. Then they sent me the correct size for me. I have recommended 4 others to buy their vests from them!

Vest carrier is nicely done just isn’t true to size if you wear a medium vest the carrier you purchase should be a large I found that they run about 1 size small from whatever size vest you wear other than that they are comfortable and well built. I would rate 5 stars if the size wasn’t an issue.

Chokes you when you sit in patrol car. Needs a mic clip on the center chest the only ones are high up on shoulders. Movement is very limited not ideal for situations where you’ll be going hands on with subjects. Maybe one size smaller could make a difference but I believe that would be to less of coverage.
