It is ideal for law enforcement officers, security guards, and anyone else who needs to protect themselves from handgun threats when paired with Ace Link Soft Armor Level 3A ( Armor Not Included – has to be purchased separately )
The vest can accommodate front and back 10×12″ hard armor plates, which can provide additional protection against high-velocity rifle rounds.
This carrier does not include ballistic panels and provides no protection on its own.

Ace Link has the best customer service, in my opinion, I’ve ever dealt with. Their product is well made, and so far very durable! Sizes do run a little small, so make sure you get the size bigger!
I had an issue with the size of my vest. It was slightly too small, and Ace Link was quick to respond to my request and even allowed me to keep in my possession the vest that I was wearing for safety reasons, until I received my new vest and carrier arrives. They quick in their turn around time. I also received my new vest in 3 day’s!

The patrol laser cut outer carrier is a very nice carrier with 4 zip pockets and a ton of molle area for your gear along with Velcro areas for your ID patches. Only thing I had to do was alter one side to get my front panel to fit properly, but other then that it’s a very comfortable outer carrier and gave me a ton of space to move my gear off my hips and up on to my outer carrier. Will be buying another one and possibly a different one to hold my rifle plates.

I REALLY LOVE THIS PLATE CARRIER, FOR FORM AND FIT. ALLOWS EASY ACCESS TO DUTY BELT, EASY TO DON AND DOFF. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THE COLLAR IS A LITTLE STIFF AND IT CHAFS UNDER MY CHIN SOMETIMES. NICE POCKETS AND WEBBING FOR ATTACHING MOLLE.

Pros: Professional appearance. Four pockets. Shoulder straps are streamlined and have lapel mic loops. Plenty of molle for attachments.
Cons: Primary con is that it lacks true wrap around side ballistic protection even when correctly sized. About a 3.5 inch gap on each side of vest with no side armor option. This was a deal breaker for me despite loving the other features of the vest.

Vest carrier is nicely done just isn’t true to size if you wear a medium vest the carrier you purchase should be a large I found that they run about 1 size small from whatever size vest you wear other than that they are comfortable and well built. I would rate 5 stars if the size wasn’t an issue.
