BULLETPROOF VESTS

This soft armor is excellent. I was sold after watching test videos of this particular item. I’m confident it will perform if I ever need it. My first impression was quality. It’s well made, with attention to detail, and just has a feeling of quality. The 11×14 fits perfectly into a laptop sleeve on a standard backpack. I received the soft armor within about 5 days of ordering, which I found to be pretty quick delivery. I’m very happy and will be a return customer.

Honestly I’ve had level 4 plates before the weight was unbearable, when I saw this Ace Link Armor I hesitated, I started to dig more into it. So I pulled the trigger. Wow, I’m floored at the difference in weight. You also get a copy of the Ballistics Resistance Test. Very well made product.

Purchased these plates recently . They are ceramic so they are very light compared to steel. I put them in my 5.11 tactical plate carrier and my entire setup weighs 12.5 lbs which is a lot better then standard steel weighing around 18-20lbs. I bought this vest to wear on duty. The armor is lighter and thinner than what my department issued me, and it has a higher rating. The vest is comfortable and well thought out. Only 2 fixes i would do: move the microphone loop more forward on the shoulder, or add a loop high on the chest on each side and on the armor on the front, add a patch of velcro at the bottom like there is at the top to keep the armor in place better. Definately not a deal breaker and a fantastic piece of equipment, especially for the cost.
