I purchased my vest because I hunt and I am concerned about being safe in these troubling times. I feel safer with a quality vest like Ace Link. I took a while but I but what believe is great body armor.

It’s always difficult to rate armor on the most important aspect of body armor. Stopping the rounds they say they are rated to stop is not something 99% of armor owners hope to never really test for themselves. So maybe the most important aspect of buying armor is trusting the company that makes this life saving gear. That being said, I wholeheartedly trust Ace Link Armor. After doing some research and speaking with the team over at Ace Link Armor I decided to go with the Level IV ceramic rifle plates. They use the same manufacturing process as industry leaders, using highest grades of Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) Polyethylene layers of backing, enhanced by silicon carbide ceramic on the strike face offering true multi-hit, edge to edge protection. All while meeting NIJ standards, weighing in at 6 lbs, and sold at a great price point compared to the competition. The multicurve design is extremely comfortable for extended wear. Simply put, these plates are a high-quality option for professionals or civilians that are serious about their personal protection.

Great product and great price however, there is no manufacturer label attached to describe who makes the helmet and what is capable of. So I made my own label with date of purchase. I would recommend this I plan on getting a NVG and possibly some headphones for a two way radio.

Purchased a Templar’s Gear Cataphract carrier in Multi-Cam with Ace Link Armor Level-IIIA soft-armor, and I am planning another carrier, along with promoting their Quad-Realease carrier for Individual Officer Purchases. The end-user and Customer Service experience has been pleasant and utterly exceptional. I highly recommend purchasing from Ace Link Armor, they absolutely care about their customers. I am a US Marine machine gunner in 29 Palms. This is my first review for anything honestly but that just tells you how much credit I want to give AceLink! I got my XL Quadrelease plate carrier and it was slightly too big so I emailed customer support and the next day had all the info to exchange the product for the Large. Very fast! I then called customer support to see the status and ended up talking to a person right away not a robot. He was very helpful and truly listened to my suggestions and is the reason I’m writing this review. Prior to sending the vest back to exchange it, I wanted to test it slightly. I put a full combat load on it (steel core body armor, 3 dual magazine pouches, 6 fully loaded 5.56 mags, an admin pouch, a green star cluster, an ifak, mag dump pouch, hydration pouch w/ 3 liters of water in a camelback, and a radio) and when I tell you this thing is comfortable, it’s an understatement! I did a little jog around my property and damn it was just hugging my body like a clingy girlfriend. The material is very light but extremely sturdy, stitching was beautiful (no frays in the stitching) and the release latches had a nice audible *click* to them that let you know it’s secure. Can’t wait to use and abuse this product. Suggestions for product to AceLink: -Make the Quick Release clips replaceable, instead of sewing the loop that locks the clips in, have a Velcro strap that through the release hole and up onto the shoulder strap under the shoulder pads. To insure it doesn’t lift back up (then offer a repair kit to do a quick fix in the field). Everything wears down eventually! -Continue making a great product!
