Typically, these helmet come with inferior head padding but not these. The helmet is light enough to be worn all day. And at this price point, why wouldn’t you buy it, as this is the cheapest ballistic helmet available. And that is why I purchased it.

I bought me my Ace link armor and ir has been by far the best qualuty. Reliable comfortable and concealable. I have not had to need it which is a good thing but i am always at ease knowing it is and will be there for any emergency or situation that could arise and have my back fully. Honestly I’ve had level 4 plates before the weight was unbearable, when I saw this Ace Link Armor I hesitated, I started to dig more into it. So I pulled the trigger. Wow, I’m floored at the difference in weight. You also get a copy of the Ballistics Resistance Test. Very well made product.

This carrier works great for heavier plates. The generous shoulder padding and well designed cummerbund make wearing this carrier for extended periods of time a breeze. Also, I love the quick release attachments, they make getting in and out of this carrier so much much easier than other cummerbund type carriers. This carrier gets an A+ and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid plate carrier.
