Purchased these plates recently . They are ceramic so they are very light compared to steel. I put them in my 5.11 tactical plate carrier and my entire setup weighs 12.5 lbs which is a lot better then standard steel weighing around 18-20lbs. Best plate carrier for the money!
Quadrelease Tactical Plate Carrier
Overall this is a very comfortable carrier to wear for extended periods of time. Shipping was quick and well packaged. The Quality the guys over at Ace Link put in definitely shows. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the market.
Con: Quick release mechanism(s). The plastic ones equipped work as intended and are very sturdy for what they are. Only change I’d recommend is switching to a metal construction.
